Rabbi Michael Adam Latz
Senior Rabbi
Rabbi Latz has been Shir Tikvah's Senior Rabbi since July 2009. He brings to the congregation boundless energy, heartfelt compassion, and commitment to fostering an authentic and engaging Jewish experience. Previously, he
 was the founding rabbi of Kol HaNeshamah in West Seattle. A Wexner Fellow during rabbinical school, Rabbi Latz was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2000.

Rabbi Debra Rappaport

Associate Rabbi

Rabbi Rappaport brings a host of strengths to her new role. Rabbi Rappaport was ordained through the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. From 2007 to 2014 she was the rabbi at B'nai Vail Congregation in Vail, Colorado. A native Minnesotan, Rabbi Rappaport recently returned to the Twin cities to be with her husband, Bob Zelle. She has been teaching locally since last summer, including Musar (applied Jewish ethics) at Hineni, Torah at Sholom Home, and as a guest instructor at Mt. Zion and Temple Israel.

John Humleker  
Executive Director

John provides staff support to many areas of our operations including finance, administration, fundraising and congregant relations.

Sara Lahyani 

Office Manager/Event Coordinator          

Sara is responsible for keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. She enjoys talking to congregants and community members, assisting with life cycle events, and working with volunteers. 

Crystal Cochran
Clergy Assistant and Communications Manager
Crystal is vital to assisting the rabbi, sche
duling appointments, and keeping track of all rabbinical and pastoral activities. She also maintains the Shir Tikvah website, eNews, monthly newsletter, and publications such as the High Holy Days brochure.

Forrest Yesnes
Director of Youth Education and Programming
Forrest is responsible for the youth education and activities programs, including Religious School, Hebrew School and STiFTY. 

Rabbi Stacy Offner
Founding Rabbi Emerita
 
Rabbi Offner became the Shir Tikvah Founding Rabbi Emerita in July 2008 after 20 years of visionary and loving leadership. She came to the Twin Cities in 1984, the first woman Rabbi in the state of Minnesota. Shir Tikvah treasures our relationship with Rabbi Offner and continues to be inspired by her wisdom, vision, and courage.
