The Vision Statement as it was voted by the congregation at the Annual Meeting on May 31, 2013. The vision statement is in the center box. Around it is commentary about the language and intention of the statement. (We borrowed this format from the Talmud and will keep adding commentary as we go.) Vision PDF
What is a Vision Statement?
A vision statement answers the question: “What do we aspire to as a community?” A good vision statement is inspiring, calls us to live into our best selves, and provides direction for strategic planning, programming, and decision-making.
How will Shir Tikvah use a Vision Statement?
Shir Tikvah will use a vision statement to propel the congregation into the future with shared values, a clear direction, common goals, and a target to guide planning.
